Agreed.  I want to get the project moving while we have interested and
motivated participants - i.e. NOW.  I figure I'll wait another day or
so.  Does anyone else know recent contact info for Kent?

Agreed.  Public is the only option being considered.

I was pleasantly surprised that 0.91 (still!) builds and runs out of
the box on Cygwin and OSX 10.6 for me.
