There is a product available from Quality Computers, "RepairWorks." I
used it once and it was a life saver. It was published about the time
of AppleWorks 3.0 and hasn't been updated (as far as I know) since. It
fixed WP and DB files. Did nothing for damaged SS files.
It was written by Gary R. Morrison. Anyone know if he is still around?
If so, I'd pay real money for an update that would fix files on AW
5.0.
