Peculiar... changing the auxtype of my system folder fixed things
for me and they've stayed fixed. I got the tip from someone who
spotted it in an issue of GS+ (I think)
 
Have you run ProSel-16 Volume Repair on that boot volume? You might
have some wonky problem..... (just a WAG...)
