A 64K II+ can boot ProDOS and load BASIC.SYSTEM up through version
1.9. In fact, it is a good idea to stay away from '1.1.1 unless it has
been patched.

A good way to transfer DOS 3.3 files to/from a IIgs is to use Copy
II+. Stay away from Copy II+ version 9.x when doing transfers between
DOS's. It seems to be okay for DOS 3.3 -to- DOS 3.3 transfers; but, it is
not reliable for transfers between DOS 3.3 and ProDOS. (All sorts of
problems cropped up with the version 9 series.)

Version 7.1 seems to be okay. (It's a good bet that versions up
through 8.x are okay.) Just copy whatever files you want from the IIgs to
a 5.25" diskette.

One problem is unavoidable when you move a DOS 3.3 program to a ProDOS
diskette. The DOS 3.3 name is going to be changed, if necessary, to fit
ProDOS's restrictions.
