ProDOS-8 will always ass/u/me that there are two 5.25" drives attached to
any interface that it beleives can support two such drives. Just like
DOS 3.3 and earlier did.
 
(uhm... I should have said "Without 3'rd party patching / tweaking, ProDOS-8
will allways ass/u/me..." :)
