Yes. With Jerry Kindall's "Flash Boot" you can 'create' a special
diskette or diskettes that will automatically load the system you want
into RAMdisk. At startup you can specify whether future boots during the
session will come from RAMdisk or the usual Slot.
I used Flash Boot to run a decent size System 6.0.1 for a few months.
It's a fine utility which, in a perverse way, ends up un-selling itself.
The user becomes so 'spoiled' by rapid system response and so intolerant
of slow diskette accesses that he/she soon moves up to a hard disk.
