The new PowerPC Mac's have new floppy controllers in them and they
trash/cant read/hate/dispise 800k floppyies!!!!
i've had 2 dozen disks damaged by powermac drives and good disks that
read fine in a 680x0 mac or APple II not read in a PowerMac...
just a warning to everyone!!!
