One of the best things I've seen Apple IIe's retired to is a local school that
can use them. Depending on the school, they might be able to put it to good
use. I work with my kid's grade school refurbishing IIe's for the kids and
teachers to use and they're getting so common nearly every class room now has
at least one computer, some have as many as six. It fun to see the machine
that Woz built still being enjoyed.
