Which keyboard did you try? The Apple 'breakable' keyboard just won't
work, which has been known for quite some time. Many others do. I have
had an Apple Extended II keyboard (the 101-key desk-eater) on my GS for
almost 2 years now, and it's worked perfectly the whole time.
A while back, someone made a list of which mac keyboards had been
tested and worked, which didn't work, etc. I'll try and look thru my
archives and see if I snagged a copy.
