Apple //gs' abilities?

        I am about to purchase a apple //gs system in the coming week and
have some questions.

        1) What is the max amount of storage the //gs will recognize?

        2) Type of drive/backup ?  SCSI/IDE?

        3) Does most of the  internal modems  work on the //gs?


        Also

          the //gs comes with a USrobotics HST and was curious if there was
          a chip upgrade to make it dual <v.34/v.42>?
