The IW II has an 8-pin mini din socket. If you install an Appletalk card
(either from Apple or Sequential Systems) AND turn it on using the DIP switch
on the IW II PCB then it is in Appletalk mode and will not work on a standard
serial port. There are only 2 versions of the IW II to my knowledge -
the 2nd has a 24KB buffer built in without the need to add a 32KB buffer card.
External identification - older version power lead plugs into leg, newer version
has the power socket in side of rear section.
