Haven't used CoolWriter, so can't comment. ShadowWrite has received what I
think we can safely call its "final" update: Hermes (ask the author why he
changed the name ... maybe to go with the "professional" looks :). The
author of Hermes aka ShadowWrite has moved to the Mac, grown up on how to
design a GUI (hence the "professional look" of Hermes now, I guess), and
doesn't really use his GS any more, or so we're told.

I guess if you find a bug in Hermes, he'll fix it. But I wouldn't hold my
breath for any feature updates. OTOH, Hermes is real fast and does
everything I want right now, so I'm for one am content with the way it is.
