ShadowWrite was updated very recently by its programmer. It is now
known as Hermes. The update included support for extended keyboard
keys and a slightly different look. I find it to be very stable,
and useful for things like opening up resource forks that contain
text (like the drag and drop clippings on my Mac upstairs)...we
have also been using it to get the text data from eps files,
and save those out separate from the usual files created on a Mac
with PICT resources, so that the eps files are usable in PublishIt
and with LaserBeam from GS+.
I haven't had a look at the newest CoolWriter (the archive I
downloaded last weekend arrived corrupted) but I will take a look
again.
