Apple Publications

Hi, I am fairly new to the net - less than six months. But I've been
playing around with either Apple //'s or compatibles for about 12 years.
Sad to say the only time I ever touched a GS was the dealers demo
model :-(
It's sad to see the Apple // publications going dying off. Losing
A+/InCider was bad enough, but the one I really miss is Nibble.
And now Softdisk. I saw someone say they checked out an issue and it
was
bad. Well, the first issue I have is 53 and I have about half the
issues between there and 166 (the final issue). Out of all those I
don't
think more than two issues are what I'd consider nearly usless. And for
every -one- that was a disappointment there were two that were worth
triple the price of the disk! Three arcaders - Short Circuit, Crisis
Mountain, and I.O. Silver alone were worth every cent that I spent on
Softdisk over the years. So all the Print Shop images and fonts, all
the card games (which got so much better in the last couple years),
all the Appleworks templates, text games, utilities etc. are like they
are free! Well thank goodness they still intend to sell back issues!
I'm going to try to fill in the holes in my collection as quickly as
I can.
Well, I just thought it was a good idea to get something on here other
than "Windoze" and "Dr. Tom". So I'll shut up now.
