The firm which distrbuted SuperWorks was (is?) Remarkable Technologies, 245
Pegasus Ave. Northvale, NJ 07647. Since SuperWorks was only one product in
their catalog (primarily office supply type stuff), it seems probable that
they are at least still in business. 

I use Apples, PCs and Macs and try to use the one which does a particular job
for me most handily. SuperWorks 3.1 does a good job of emulating AppleWorks
3.0, and AppleWorks is, IMO, the single greatest program of all time on any
platform. Given that there is no portable IIe-equivalent, SuperWorks on a DOS
portable is the closest you can get to portable AppleWorks in a commercial
product. Actually, it does directly import AW3 files (though it doesn't read
Apple disks). 

For what it's worth, I find the PC under DOS much more apple-like than the
Mac. While the Mac GUI is still the best of its kind, the "magic menu" of
AppleWorks is much faster, takes little machine overhead and is at least as
easy to use. SuperWorks duplicates that interface.
