This problem happened to me too! But I found it to be related to AppleTalk
software in the system (i.e., CDevs). When I shift boot, I noticed that
the problem goes away; so I started disabling different CDevs--which I
found to be AppleTalk-related. Now All I have is NetPrinter and AppleShare
in CDevs Folder (there are other AppleTalk CDevs that are fine --I only
had these because I only needed these two CDevs). Then the GS boots fine.
Although the system still sometimes crash erratically between programs. Any
Ideas?
I have ROM 01 GS w/ 3MB RAM (2MB CV Tech RAM Card + 1MB GS Memory
expansion), RamFast SCSI w/ SyQuest 105 drive (slot 5), FDHD Controller
(Slot 6), Zip GSX 9MHz/32K (Slot 2), SecondSight (slot 3). AppleTalk
Activated on Slot 1.
