I don't see anything like this. My Second Sight card, attached to a CTX
VGA monitor, has given me no regrets whatsoever with my ROM 3 IIGS.
I continue to regard the Second Sight card as the best thing I have added
to my Apple IIGS since a hard drive and 4-megs of memory. The text screen
is MUCH easier to read. The desktop is MUCH sharper. The only problems I
have are the "chunky" way the desktop is redrawn and a "bouncy" effect on
the monitor when changing between display modes. These effects don't
bother me a lot, but I suppose if I wanted to do graphic animations they
would pose more of a problem.
