RE: Why an Apple II?

I still remembered that the game 'Taipan' and 'Bandits' makes me buy
the Apple II+ in the first place years ago, back in 1984. When I saw the
Bard's Tale later on, it also blew my head off... and the Apple II took my
perference over the IBM PCs when I came across Below the Root, Book of
Moebius and Alternate Reality.

I still can remember back in 1987 when I about to move on, it is
either the choice of the Macintosh II, the IBM PC/AT or Amiga. Still, I was
waiting for the Apple IIgs to be displayed in Singapore, and when I saw the
computer finally arrived in early 1988, I fell in love with it, after
watching the Fantavision demo and Music Construction Set.

I agree to that. I am still trying to keep the Apple II and IIgs
alive here in Brisbane, Australia. Even though I am only going to spend about
4 years here for my studies, I find great pleasure helping out those fellow
users who are in need of help, getting parts and programs. Keeping the
'II Infinitum' spirit alive here is a great challenge to me, and to my fellow
users here, they have someone more 'knowledgable' to ask help from.

Nope, neither will I, I prefer my Apple IIgs, and even if I have to
move on to another computer the next time, I will still keep my Apple IIgs
and the wonderful times it brought me !
