--> Why did you choose an Apple II?
Quite frankly, because I found it cooler than the Atari ST and the Amiga, and
less expensive than the PC. The Bard's Tale was the first game I ever had, and
it blew me away. You can imagine my amazement when I first saw games like
Thexder, Rastan, and Task Force, as well. The GS had... character. And I dug
Music construction set too.
Why do I still use it? Because of a dwindling user base, GS people kinda seem
like a big family. The GS still can hold its own against those macs, with new
software like Quick Click Calc, Morph, Animasia, and Wolf3D (if it's ever
released.) All in all, the II is one damn neat computer. Would I have bought a
PC or Amiga if I could go back nine years ago today? Not a chance. The "II
Infinitum" spirit keeps all of us on Csa2 optimistic (well, most of us,
anyway).
Oh yeah, well, John Sculley sucks, if it weren't for him we'd all be a lot
happier with our Apple IIgs+'s. But that's another story, huh?

I'm sorry, I'm babbling
