    What do you need to do to be able to use the midi files in Usenet?
    I have done the same thing I do with wav sounds that seems to work:

   I save it and run GSCII on it and then Sound Studio converts it so I
 can hear it.

  What I'm doing differently with the midi's is using Synthlab and I have
 also tried to use Midi Surgeon to no avail!  Have also tried to unshrink
 it but always says Not a GSShrink it file or corrupted file (or something
 close to that)
