some details are in your book. look at the 256k schematic, part 7 of 8. 
(the fold out sheets in the back - note, they are double sided :)
the fan connector is shown on the left edge, bit more than 1/2 way down. 
it's a 12 volt line. the current limit will depend on what's in your 
total system, but do NOT try to start a car with it.
