Hello Marshall,
I distribute communications softwear for the Apple II family to
folks that need it, for a fairly reasonable sum. I'd repost my ad, but
most of the regulars have seen it recently, and I try not to post it more
than about monthly.

Email me if your still interested and I'll mail it to you.

InTrec Software is still selling the primo software package for
the 8bit (arguably all) Apple II's communications needs.

As for IIe/IIc cables, Quality Computers still sells them, AllTech
pry sells them, and I sell them for about $10 (shipped).

Jameco has 2400 bps modems (new) for about $31 delivered, AllTech
is selling 9600 bps modems for about $49, and you can find 14.4k modems
new in the mail order houses for under $100.

Things are not quite as dire as you suggest <g>.

Oh, and doesn't your Macintrash have lowercase capability?

Phone numbers:
InTrec Software 602/992-5515
AllTech Computers 619/724-2404
Quality Computers 800/777-3642
Jameco Electronics 800/831-4242

					Good Luck
