The 1E at the beginning means the error was related to the Resource 
Manager.  1E42 itself is undefined according to the System 6.0.1 
Programmers' Reference.  However, I've discovered that 99 chances out of 
100 any error message with a "42" in it is generated by the Finder itself.

Sorry if that doesn't help any, but that's the best I can explain it...
