Leroy,
Siders are notoriously noisy, so if your only symptom is clicking noises you
may be okay. I have owned two 10MB Siders, and each made distinctive
obnoxious sounds ranging from clicks to whines.
OTOH it could be related to the slot 6 configuration I suppose. FCP
recommended slot 7 for the Sier I think, which has always worked for me.
