the ITT 2020 is an official Apple II clone licensed by Apple 
computer to ITT.
It was made for the European market and entered the market in 
1978 (?) before the original US Apple.

It has slightly more ram (4K?) than the orignal apple to store 
additional information for improved graphics resolution.

It has a manual boot rom but this can be changed to the original 
apple autostart rom.

It has improved basic language called PALSOFT instead of 
Applesoft (compatible)

It has a slightly different cpu clock frequency and a PAL
(european color television) composite output.

The rest of it is comparable to the oldest revisions of the 
original apple II motherboard ( 2513 character generator, etc).

There was no software to support the higher graphics resolution, 
so most people made a backmodification to the original Apple
