This isn't a problem? Do you know how foreign character sets are handled
in text mode programs? There are some characters in the US-ASCII set
that are not used that much in other countries which get replaced by
special characters, for example [, ], {, }, | are replaced by German
umlauts. On the GS, I just enter the control panel and select the
German display language.
I do not want to patch programs like AppleWorks (nor can I), and if
Sequential wants to sell the SS card to Apple IIe owners in Europe,
who don't have IIGS desktop programs, they should make it compatible
in this respect, too.
