The only thing I've ever managed to make work in a situation like that (which
was caused by a major power glitch, I think, rather than anything I did) was
to alter the SCSI ID, either of the device itself or of the RamFAST. Easy to
power down, change things around, and power up again, then you can change it
back afterward.
