Just as the older Macintosh 3.5 inch drives will not work on a GS,
neither will that Hard Drive. It might be possible if you had a Laser UDC
card or a PCTransporter, but I never tried it. I didn't want to rick
blowing the cards. That drive was designed to work with the early Macs,
like the 128 and 512, which had no SCSI port. I had one hooked up to a
Macintosh Plus for a while. In a word, SLOW! I used it strictly for data
storage and not to boot the machine.
Do not hook it to the GS drive port under any circumstance as it will fry
the IWM chip.
