  maybe you trashed your zip while putting 'em on.  did any traces on
the board pop up while you were soldering?  did you put 'em on
backwards?  did you switch the two when you put 'em in?  are all of
your solder spots good?  i made the above mods to my zip a long time
ago, and it's worked like a charm since.
