Did you socket them? If not, it's a good idea. If you did, try
switching back to the old ones without changing anything else. If it
works that way, try swapping one chip at a time--one of the new ones
might be faulty. Also, make sure that they are oriented the right way,
and don't rely on the printing, make sure the dot is in the right
place.
