I'm replying in comp.sys.apple2, as comp.binaries.apple2 is for postings
of program files...
I used ProTERM v3.0 and then ProTERM v3.1. A great comm program, TONS of
configurations & user-definable options, big plus. A macro language that
looks like chicken scratch.
Spectrum v2.0: XCMDs, incredible English scripting language, GUI, NDAs, etc.
Between the two, I'd take Specky anyday, but ProTERM was my first true
love. :) I still use PT3 for its most excellent word processor (when I
don't feel like loading Appleworks 5.1).
