Hopefully, you will read this.

I don't know the best Internet service provider.  Believe it or not, I'm not
on the Internet yet, except for USENET.  I haven't found the time to do it.
Anyway, someone at my workplace here in Atlanta asked the same question.
Two providers repeated themselves:  Access America and Netcom.  I am actually
on Access America, but have yet to utilize it.  It has a local BBS in Atlanta
called Access Atlanta.  The BBS has a door that connects to Access America.

As for a UU encoder, according to bpvh@shell1.msn.fullfeed.com (Bradley
VonHaden), try UUdecode/encode v 1.1 by Andy Tefft.  Available by FTP.
Look in the prodos 8 areas.  Works just fine on a IIgs.
At grind.isca.uiowa.edu, in the apple 2 area, look in apple8/utils.
I hear that the latest version of GSCII also UUdecodes.  I don't know
whether it UUencodes.  It's available at the caltech site.

As far as I know, neither of these latest version are available on Compuserve.

And personally, I'm having trouble with something having to do with this.  I
can UUdecode a GIF file fine from a USENET group, but I can't do the same with
JPEGs.  UUdecode seems to do it fine, but my JPEG viewer doesn't do anything.
It's the JPEG View Pre-release that's on Compuserve.  The only other JPEG
viewer on Compuserve seems to be a shell, which I have no idea how to handle.
