Apple //c Plus

I got an Apple //c Plus and now with ProTerm 2.0.1, I'm finding that it 
will not download correctly.... being a novice to the Apple file system 
I'm not sure just what I'm doing wrong.

I'm picking BIN for the files ending in  .exe  and txt for the files 
ending with bsq or bsc
I've tryed downloading them to a MAC, then moveing them to a ProDos disk, 
but they are not there as the correct TYPE of files...
any hints would be much apreciated!!!!!
