And, even better, yo can hook up any *cheap* CGA or EGA monitor from
old PC, without any modification, just by using proper custom cable.
You will get great picture, much better than on composite TV. Laser
provides all necessary signals (TTL IRGB/HSYNC/VSYNC) on its Video
Expansion  connector, near to the composite output.  Beware of 12V
voltage on one of this connector pins, connecting it by mistake
certainly will blow monitor input.

BTW, I have seen old Laser 128, not EX/EX2 , which can turn turn on
_color_  border even in text  mode by writing high nibble in $C023
adr. But my EX cannot do it.
