Actually it's not a DB-25 connector.  I think it is the centronics 36 
parallel connector.

What you need is a Grappler+ or comparable card (Sequential Systems 
makes a clone, I think), Harmony-HP, and Pointless.  I am using the 
DJ520 with this combination.  Works great.  You might be able to get 
away with a serial to parallel converter if you need slot one for a 
card.  The parallel interface seems faster--or so I've heard.  Search 
comp.sys.apple2.marketplace for a parallel card.
