GEnie's rates are $3/hr with a $2/hr surcharge to use Sprintnet lines (at up
to 14.4K). The Prime Time surcharge has been lowered to $2/hr. The Apple II
file area is by far the largest I've seen on any online service. While
Customer Service may be a bit slow at times, I've been on hold just as long at
AOL only to be told to call another number where I was also put on hold.
They've hired more people recently, however, so the situation should be at
least somewhat better.
GEnie also has online readers for Apple IIs which can do wonders for cutting
your monthly bill.
