By chance do you have only 1.25 megs RAM?  If you do, the program can generate 
the small picture, but whilst it is generating the large one it can run out of 
memory and crash, making no indication that it has done so.  It just freezes.  
Don't CTRL-RESET if it doesn't give you a large image straight away though, as 
it takes a little while.
