Apple CD-300

I'm looking into buying an Apple CD-300 CD-ROM drive for my GS.  I have a 
RamFAST Rev.D v3.01ez to drive the thing.  After reading the Nov. 94 
CD-ROM FAQ, have a question... Is there still no driver support for Audio 
CD's on the 300 or the 300E?  If not, will there ever be?  Also, are any of 
the NEC 2x drives physically smaller than the Apple CD-300?  
One more thing... Is there any talk of updating disquest to support 
SecondSight, so CD-ROM stuff actually looks like it is supposed to?  
Just curious (and hopeful).  Thanks!
