Yes there was a v1.3, but it if you don't have a 65C02 in the Apple ][+, it 
could cause P8 to "eat" the disk.

P8 v1.9 should run fine on a ][+.  The only thing stopping you from running P8
v2.0.x is having a 65C02 processor in the ][+.

The only thing you "lose" running P8 on a ][+ is that the /RAM (Aux-mem
RamDisk) does not exist.
