If you can isolate the Pascal disk activity from the program disk
activity, I suggest you look for a section with a lot of references to
$C08C.  This should reveal to you the track-reading code with the
check, which you can then easily trace and disable.  When last I
looked at a Sir-Tech product (a spaceship-in-a-maze game whose name I
have since forgotten), the procedure was as straightforward as this.
Since Wizardry came before the product I examined, it's probable that
the protection was no more complex.  It should be a matter of
intercepting the routine and inserting a CLC RTS somwhere, or the
equivalent.

Disclaimer: I don't know how to tell the Pascal files from the program
files, you're on your own there.  But that shouldn't be too much of a
problem, there's only 140K to scan!
