dumb Q # 109...Can a Power Mac read ProDos disks?

I'm new to the Mac World, having just landed a job where all kinds of
Macs are avail.. None of them seem to have Apple File Exchange on them. I
think some have System 7.5...and there are a couple of Power Macs, too.

To what extent can I translate my Apple II files on 3.5" disk?

1. Can TXT files be directly read by the Power Mac?
2. Can IIgs programs, like Arkanoid, run on any of these machines?
3. Can an LC, if I pikk up a IIe emulator card, run IIgs programs?
4. Can TXT files be read by any of these machines without AFX.

I don't know `why AFX isn't on any of these machines...Maybe they wanted to
conserve space...

Also, say I wanna pikk up a Mac...I already have the standard IIgs set-up (RGB
monitor, dives, et al), which CPU would best accompany my hardware?
Just asking!

(A IIgs is still a more fun machine, I say)
