Re: Maxing out a IIe, what can be done?
[...pumped up //e's deleted...]
gee, I feel so tiny... (what's a workstation card?) all I have
in my //e is:
aux: extended 80 col
1: Alphabits --> IWII
2: SSC --> Supra2400+
3: --
4: --
5: --
6: Disk II controller (2 drives)
7: --
=^(
but, it does get most of my work done (can't handle Japanese
text though...) and I guess that's important. At one time when my
brother gave me his old Apple // system I stuck everything in my //e:
aux: extended 80 col
1: parallel interface --> Okidata microline 92
2: Apple Silentype (darned thing had some troubles with CRs)
3: --
4: Hayes Micromodem //e (wooo, ripping at 300 baud! =^)
5: Disk II controller (2 drives)
6: Disk II controller (2 drives)
7: --
RF Modulator installed
Game I/O: Sirius Joyport (resetting the computer with it set to the
digital stick position... ooo, //e wasn't very happy! =^)
...then shortly after I read some article about the power supply and how
much of a load certain peripherals create, I soon ripped out all the
unnecessary stuff. =^)
