As I remember, the Applied Ingenuity drives were actually IDE hard
drives. The drive was the 3.5" form factor and they were able to squeeze
it into the power supply case. I never played around enough to know if
you could use larger hard drives with their controller. It would be nice
to find out because IDE drives are so cheap. It should work with any IDE
hard drive I would think.
