I remember once flipping through a Fuji-Novell Battery catalog and seeing
an exact replacement for the gs battery (with lead wires attached just
like the gs battery!). I'm fairly certain that this is a common format.
Try asking someone in an electronics supply shop about it. I'm sure they
could at least order one for you. Personally, I think I'll solder a
battery holder to my motherboard when my battery goes bad, so I won't
have to deal with the hassle of resoldering batteries every time.
