Is it worth it?  If it works it probably is!

My setup is not working.  I have tried everything from installing a bare
bones System to holding my rabbit's foot while trying to FAX.  One thing
that is becomming very clear to me is that Supra modems seem to be working
quite well.  Any postings on this subject in the future would be very
useful if you list what modem you are using.  I called Vitesse and they
told me that modems with a particular Chip set do not work.  Problem is
that chip set information is not included in the specs when you purchase a
modem.  My modem is a Global Village Teleport Gold II and I am convinced I
am wasting my time trying to get it to work.  I am trying to find a Mac
user with a Supra modem that wants to make a trade.  I have found your
postings on this subject very useful.
