I'd really recommend getting the program 'ProSEL-8' (or the -16
possibly for GS versions). Both let you set up menus of programs to
run, etc. Dunno about password protection, but I'm reasonably sure
it would have something like that.
A 'BASIC' program would be way too easy to hack, and quitting back
to it after a program involves jumping through more hoops than I'd
care to list offhand.
