Ooooohhh, there's lot's of stuff you can do. Get a Sequential Systems
1 Mb RAM expansion and an 8 MHz ZipChip from Alltech Electronics.
Your Super Serial Card will handle up to 19.2 kb so go ahead and
get a 14.4 kb modem. Hard drive? Sure. Get an Apple High Speed SCSI
controller from Quality Computers and go crazy. You might want to
get ProSel-8 from Charlies Appleseeds to help manage the drive.
Oh yes, then there's a mouse card and mouse, and now that you've
got a hard drive and memory you'll want AppleWorks v5.0. Hmmm, while
you're at it replace your Apple floppy disk controller with a
BlueDisk controller so you can use high density floppy drives.
Ack! And how can I forget, with AW5 you'll want a good printer, so
drop a second SSC in slot 1 and get an ImageWriter II.
Whew! Yep, there's lot's to get to push the edge :) I have a lot
of fun with my IIe with all the stuff I've collected over the past
15 years and picking up used stuff at flea markets for a song that
I used to drool over (and couldn't afford) when it was new.
Have fun!
John
