Question...  what can be done to "push the envelope" on this machine?
 
How fast can it be made to go?
 
I have heard some talk of 14Hz Apples.
 
What about hard drives?
 
One Apple BBS in Austin has access to over one gig of harddrive space.
But as I understand it, the Apple can only access a little under 500 megs,
at a time.
 
How much would this cost me?
 
I would guess that you could get some of this for under a thousand dollars.
There are other goodies that you will need for your Apple, so that is what
is
driving the price up to a thousand.
 
I want to see what can be done as it has been awhile since I've used it
seriously.
 
Can it handle high speed modems (oh, I have a Super Serial Card and a
Grappler as well)?  ETc., etc.
 
Again, I have heard talk of modems speeds going up the 54,000.
I am guessing about all this. :)
