It's times like this, that I really regret taking down my BBS.

The program you need, unfortunately, is Kermit-65 v3.87. Unfortunate, because
it is a PITA to configure and is not very "friendly". It is however, public
domain, and it does do Kermit transfers. OBTW, do you have any idea of how
slow the Kermit Xfer protocol really is????

What you could do, I suppose, is "temporarily" join Delphi, take advantage of
it's 5 free hour trial period to raid the database and download Kermit.

Pickup a Computer Shopper and look for the Delphi ad, it's in there somewhere,
or call Delphi Member Services at (800) 544-4005 and get the info. Do me a
favor and use APPLESIG as your password when you respond to the ad, it gives
us a few brownie points.

Yeah, I could do that, send me $2 to cover costs and a note reminding me of
what I'm supposed to be sending you.

But what you *really* need to do is buy a real communications program like
ProTerm or ANSIterm, and take advantage of the bells and whistles those 2 fine
programs can provide. A good comm program is the best investment you can make
for your computer.

PS. This really should have been posted in comp.sys.apple2.comm.
