	It is my understanding that Macs can run MS-DOS & Windows 
applications under emulation (probably in a window) and can also 
translate text documents (PICT, TIFF as well) to be imported into
Mac application programs on the system (the latter I have done 
myself using Apple File Exchange on system 7)

	In order to run "alien" applications on a Mac, as far as
I know, you must either own SoftWindows from Insignia Soloutions,
or some other similar program, or a DOS card (I'm not fully sure
about that one)

	A good source on information, I have found, is Macworld 
Magazine or MacUser...
